JF Hanley Group
John F. Hanley Farm Equipment Ltd. was established by John Hanley in 1980 as a supplier of advanced farm equipment to the dairy, tillage and livestock industries. The fledgling business expanded quickly and soon became a leading supplier of grain storage, slurry storage and milking equipment to the agriculture industry in Ireland.
“One of the most rewarding things about business is to see customers continually coming back and now more than ever as the next generation come into the equation”, says John Hanley. This dedication to quality service and building relationships with loyal customers has been the hallmark of the J.F. Hanley approach over the years and will remain the cornerstone of future growth and expansion across our machinery and fencing business streams.
JF Hanley Fencing
In 1986 J.F. Hanley launched a dedicated professional fencing service for livestock farmers. The company won a coveted franchise for Gallagher Fencing Systems NZ and became a market leader in the promotion of electric fencing to Irish dairy and sheep farmers. The fencing business soon expanded into security/containment fencing and road fencing including safety barrier and environmental noise barrier. J.F.Hanley Fencing is now established as one of Ireland’s top fencing solutions providers and proudly counts ESB International, Irish Rail, DAA (Dublin Airport Authority), Irish Prison Services, numerous County Councils and a host of top construction companies including Sisk, SIAC and ASCON among its loyal customers.
JF Hanley Groundcare
J.F. Hanley is also now one of Ireland’s leading suppliers of Honda ATVs and attachments. John noted the high penetration and usage of ATV’s on New Zealand farms during a Gallagher corporate trip in 1989. Realising the potential demand for ATVs in Ireland, he pursued and won the Honda agency for Ireland’s western region. In 2008 the company supplied and serviced more than 300 units in the west and midlands of Ireland. In 2000 JF Hanley added amenity Golf & Turf to its machinery offering. The company brought two formidable brands, Kubota of Japan and world renowned Toro USA to the up and coming market of Ireland West. With John’s son Patrick Hanley at the helm, J.F. Hanley’s machinery business lines are going from strength to strength.
